| Habitat and Ecology: | Deeper permanent floodplain channels and lagoons (Skelton 2001). Tweddle et al. found it mainly in vegetation such as reed thickets fringing main river channels in the Upper Zambezi, although Winemiller (1991) classified it as a lagoon-dwelling diurnal insectivore on the Barotse floodplain. It was scarce in a survey of the Okavango Delta (Tweddle et al. 2003). |
