Justification:
This species disappeared in the late 1930s, probably due to the introduction of common carp. Only two specimens of this species exist in a Museum.

Range Description: It was restricted to Lake (Aguelmam) Sidi Ali, located at 2,230 m altitude in the Atlas mountains in northern Morocco.
