Justification:
The species is only known from the Moraca drainage and its tributary upper Zeta. The introduction of alien trouts (ongoing for over 100 years) is the major threat as they may hybridise with S. taleri. However the impact of this hybridisation is unknown and the species could be Extinct or Least Concern.
